• Not that KKR needed any help from the DC bowlers, but got it in the form of 28 extras. KKR won the match by 5 wickets, and David Hussey’s unbeaten 38 runs were crucial in the chase.
• David Hussey, for his unbeaten 38 runs and one wicket, was named the player of the match.

Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kings XI Punjab - 27 Extras - 2011

• The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) bowlers were put under tremendous pressure when the team took on the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) team on 17th May, 2011.
• Batting first, KXIP batters got on a roll, putting 232 runs on the board. Adam Gilchrist scored a quick-fire century and was ably supported by Shaun Marsh, who scored an unbeaten 79 runs in just 49 balls. KXIP was also supported a great deal by the RCB bowlers, who conceded 27 runs in the innings.
• In what was a massive chase, the RCB team never got going and was bundled out for just 121 runs, losing the match by 111 runs.Adam Gilchrist, for his 106 runs in just 55 balls, was named the player of the match.

Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings - 26 Extras - 2009

• Mumbai Indians (MI) had the worst day with the ball when it took on the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team on 16th May, 2009.
• Batting first, MI posted 147 runs thanks to an impressive half-century from Jean-Paul Duminy.
• In what was a moderate target, the CSK team began the chase cautiously and was assisted by MI bowlers, who conceded 26 extra runs. CSK won the match by seven wickets and with five balls to spare.
• Matthew Hayden, for his unbeaten 60 runs, was named the player of the match.

Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Rajasthan Royals - 26 Extras - 2008

• Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) bowlers had a day to forget when they played against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) on 17th May, 2008.
• Batting first, RR scored 197 runs, as both its openers, Graeme Smith and Swapnil Asnodkar, scored brilliant half-centuries. RR was helped a great deal by RCB bowlers, who bowled poorly and conceded 26 runs in the innings.
• RCB began the chase poorly and could never recover, losing the match eventually by 65 runs.
• Graeme Smith, for his unbeaten 75 runs in just 49 balls, was named the player of the match.

Rajasthan Royals vs Kolkata Knight Riders - 26 Extras - 2015

• Rajasthan Royals (RR) bowlers almost made a mess when they conceded 26 extras against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on 16th May, 2015.
• Batting first, RR scored 199 runs, as Shane Watson scored a brilliant 104 runs from just 59 balls. His innings comprised 5 sixes and 9 fours, and he destroyed the KKR bowlers.
• KKR began the chase tentatively and could never recover, losing the match by 9 runs.
• Shane Watson, for his unbeaten 104 runs and two wickets, was named the player of the match.
